The food was very good, it was quiet and quick. We went on a Sunday just after it opened so I expected it to be quiet, but the food was very good. No complaints, the bathrooms were clean and the booth we had was clean too. Enjoyed the experience.

We decided to try this Cajun spot a couple of weeks ago and I am so glad we did! It’s a nice little spot close to the Galleria Mall and they put Cajun right there in that little spot. I had the Shrimp & Grits which was a nice choice. Now, these Shrimp & Grits are different than any I have ever had. You get anything from grits on top of shrimp to an actual shrimp and grits dish at other restaurants then you get these shrimp and grits! The Shrimp & Grits at Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill are differently amazing. They are the most moist I have ever had and it’s a dish where the shrimp and grits go nicely together. Moist you ask? Yes, this dish has a lot of liquid which I enjoy. I assume it is coming from cooking the shrimp like shrimp scampi and then bringing it all together. I just stirred mine all up and had some of the best Shrimp & Grits I have ever had. Glad we went and we will surely be back!!!!!!

My first time there definitely won’t be my last! My son took me, and we had an amazing server named Rya! The food was heavenly divine from the start to finish. I took pictures of the crab claws and Oyster’s Rockefeller and uploaded to my social media pages! I throughly enjoyed the ambience and the desert was immensely beautiful and tasted delicious! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves seafood! The crab craws were fried just right! Just brilliant food

AJ i think was our servers name , super nice guy, helped us with the menu deciding since it was our first visit, food was awesome, hot and fresh, delicious, good prices, will definitely visit again when in Birmingham! We were visiting for my husband work conference at embassy suites across the road.

My go to happy hour place! Harrison and Jordan are the best! We’ve had the best service and food here! Definitely come check them out. :) the crawfish have the best flavor ...

Wow! The first time I came here last summer I got sick. However, this year I gave them a second chance and I'm glad I did because we both really enjoyed our food! Very delicious. Good staff, refilled drinks and brought boxes and ticket in good time. I enjoyed my 3 drink too!

We drove over an hour to have our anniversary dinner at Cajun Steamer Bar and Grill. We have been here a number of times, and what a neat place this is with its Cajun atmosphere. Jacob took great care of us. He was very fast bringing our drinks. He then allowed us adequate time to look over the menu. We were not rushed between courses. We started off with a dozen char grilled oysters, and they were so good. Following that, we both had the Catfish Pontchartrain. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the sauce that topped it was to die for. I had the red beans and rice for my side, and it was great. My wife had the remoulaud slaw and said it was very good. For desert, we shared an order of four large beignets. Our experience was as close to being in the Big Easy without making the trip. Yes, we will return.

This was our first time to eat here. We absolutely loved it. Everything we got was so good. For 5 people the price was great.
